Houston, America’s fourth-largest city, is home to world class dining, arts, shopping, and nightlife all in an urban chic setting. There is always something fun to do in this cosmopolitan city known for it Southern hospitality and charm. Come with us as we explore our city and highlight some of the cool events going on around town in March.

February 27 - March 18, 2018
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is the world’s largest livestock show and rodeo, powered by more than 33,000 volunteers! Since 1932, rodeo time has been a tradition in Houston, and the three-week extravaganza at NRG Park continues to consume the city every spring. The kickoff for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is the Rodeo Parade, after trail riders ride into town and set up camp in Memorial Park. All 20 championship rodeo competitions are concluded with entertainment by music superstars. Ticket are available for purchase here.

March 2-4, 2018
One of the surest signs of spring in Houston is the annual Azalea Trail. Houstonians and visitors view the spectacular gardens at Bayou Bend and Rienzi and visit River Oaks' exquisite private homes and admire their breathtaking gardens.

March 10, 2018
The Buffalo Bayou Regatta is the largest canoe and kayak race in Texas. Over 200 vessels are expected to hit the waters in in west Houston, racing and enjoying the day, ending in Sesquicentennial Park in Downtown Houston.

March 18, 2018
Now in its 11th year, the annual bike ride offers Houstonians and visitors a unique way to view the city with routes winding through Houston's historic neighborhoods, scenic districts and parks while raising funds for the city's Reforest Houston program.

March 23-25, 2018
Celebrating 47 years, The Bayou City Art Festival at Memorial Park kicks off spring as Houston’s premier outdoor fine arts event. More than 300 national artists working in 19 artistic media are juried and invited to show and sell their original art at this event. 

March 24-25, 2018

March 26 - April 1, 2018
Played at the Golf Club of Houston, 156 of the world's best golfers compete in the Houston Open in pursuit of the $5 million-plus purse. The Houston Golf Association has been conducting PGA Tour events since 1946, making Houston's tournament the 10th oldest.
