Some incredible figures have taught us that oppression and injustice do not have to be tolerated. While we could easily name hundreds of people who have made a positive impression on culture and what it values, there is one that no one could dispute: Martin Luther King, Jr. He was a man that constantly fought for equality, but he didn’t fight with weapons, his battle was fought with love, kind words, and peace.
